Welcome to BLC!

We are delighted that you found us and sincerely hope that you’ll take us up on our invitation to come and join us in worship.  BLC is a growing faith family that seeks to make a difference in the lives of young and old, stranger and friend.  If you are without a church home we hope you’ll come “taste and see” what BLC has to offer.  You’ll find a warm welcome, up-beat music, a message you can take home and ponder and a family of Christian believers who care about the community and world. Consider giving BLC an opportunity to help you discover just how meaningful a relationship with Jesus Christ can be for your life.  Let us help you “share Christ’s light with the world!”

The welcome mat is out and the door is open.  Sunday morning worship is at 9:00am.  Coffee and fellowship will be waiting for you to enjoy.  And you’ll find people just like you; people looking for answers to some of life’s biggest questions.  You may come as a stranger but you’ll leave as a friend. Come as you are to BLC!  We are refreshing, relevant and vibrant

I look forward to seeing you,
Pastor Jim

Our 2020 Lenten Devotional Needs You!
This year our Lenten devotional will be based on the story of the man born blind from John 9: 1-41. We all have some sort of blindness. God offers us the chance to see and understand.

For this year’s devotional we ask that you write a letter to a younger version of yourself.  What have you gained insight about that the younger version of you didn’t have?  Your piece will be completely ANONYMOUS.   In 300-400 words, share what wisdom you might impart? You can submit your letter through this link:  https://barneveldlutheran.wufoo.com/forms/rjey7z31e1n15b/

We hope to receive letters no later than February 6th.  We are looking forward to seeing what you will be able to share and how the Holy Spirit will move through this year’s devotional.
